Pre-orders: Since we need to make the sweater for you, alterations can be made to colors and pattern at no extra cost. The time to deliver the pre-ordered sweater depends on our available knitters, season and other things. Usually no less than 2 weeks and no more than 8 weeks. Please bear in mind that our sweaters are mostly made by retired women who do this as a hobby. We think happy knitters make happy sweaters, so we don’t rush them.

This is an authentic Icelandic Lopapeysa which is now a protected product name by the Icelandic food and vetinary authority. To qualify as such it must be made from wool sheered from Icelandic sheep. The wool shall be new, not recycled. The sweater must be knit from Icelandic lopi and it shall be hand knitted in Iceland.
