Wayfinder – Vegvísir Wall Print Poster
The Vegvisir, also known as the Nordic compass, Odin compass, and the Viking compass. In Icelandic translates to ‘sign post’ or ‘way finder’. It is a symbol composed of eight-pointed shape, with each point having a unique design and is associated with protection and guidance. It is believed to have been used by Vikings as a compass or a wayfinder. The word “vegvisir” itself means ‘wayfinder’ or ‘signpost’ in the Icelandic language.
